Over the next few weeks, we will be going through a series called, “First Place: Christ is Supreme.” Through this series, we will take a careful look at the city of Colossae when Paul wrote and ask the question, “What does a 2000 year old letter have to do with my life?”
In a world of high technology, high communication, and short distances between one part of the world and another, what can we have in common with believers of another era? Is it possible that despite all the differences, we have more in common than we might first think?
In this series, we will see that in every human life, something, some desire, some pursuit must rise to the top of our affections. And in the world around us, something or someone is ultimately in control. At the end of the day, who is supreme?
Christ is supreme.
