In 2012, Grace Covenant Church is gearing up to take 212 people to the mission field for GLOBAL IMPACT in 2012. Whether it’s heading to South Africa for ten days to serve an orphanage, DC to serve the homeless for one day, or Haiti to help construct a school, Grace Covenant Church wants you to join us in bringing the power of the Gospel through our words and actions both domestically and internationally!
For most of us, we are excited at the prospect, but are terrified at the process!
Beginning September 11th at 9am in the Conference Room, MEET THE WORLD is your 3 week course to get all your questions answered, concerns alleviated, and faith built so you can be prepared to step in to the mission field.
Here are some of the things we’ll be covering:
- Money: What does it look like to raise support?
- Details: Passport, shots, packing and more
- Future Plans: An in depth look at GCC’s Missions Plans for 2012 to help you choose the right trip
- Getting Ready Physically and Spiritually: Preparing your testimony, sharing your testimony, firming up your understanding of the Gospel, and more.
- Coming Home: Creating a plan to help you bring your mission trip home with you so that you can live ON MISSION here in DC.
Plan to join us beginning September 11th, 18th, and 25th. Can’t make this batch of classes, join us in October or November. Appropriate for ages 13 and up. Follow this link to register.
